Combination hair requires a shampoo and conditioner that provide deep cleansing for oily roots, whilst still conditioning dry brittle ends. Balancing Act Shampoo is formulated to effectively cleanse the hair of grease but the gentle formula will not strip the hair. Balancing Act Conditioner nourishes hair where it needs it most, without the use of heavy silicones ensuring the hair does not feel overloaded.
Balancing Act Dry Shampoo is great for extending your blow-dry; containing naturally derived ingredients to re-fresh limp locks. A must-have styling aid which adds volume and texture to hair, it's perfect for creating messy volumised up-dos and textured matt styles.
Andrew John’s (Artistic Manager of Charles Worthington) top tips for Balancing Act Dry Shampoo:
• Always spray from 10-12 inches away and spray on roots, rather than scalp to ensure you do not leave white residue visible on the scalp
• It is important to leave dry shampoo on the roots for one minute before brushing through, to make sure it has time to work its magic
Tips for combination hair:
• With Balancing Act Shampoo lather instead of massaging the roots to try to prevent extra sebum being produced as this can add grease to roots
• Let the shampoo sit on your scalp for a couple of minutes to work deep into the roots for extra cleansing, be sure to be thorough with rinsing
• Before applying Balancing Act Conditioner wring out excess water to ensure you do not dilute the conditioner, massage onto dry ends and stay clear of the roots as no extra conditioner is needed there!
